Shops Damaged In
Coventry Arson Attack
Shops
in Coventry city centre have been put at risk after arsonists
caused damage to their fire exits last night.
Three
shops in Hertford Street are now considered to be unsafe because
of the lack of emergency access: a travel agents, a stationery
shop and a shoe shop.
The
fires were discovered at the rear of the shops last night at
1030pm. It is the second city centre blaze in the last few days.
At
the weekend the former C&A store was badly damaged when a fire
was started in a service area.
Witnesses
to the latest incident should contact detectives on 024 7653 9082.
