Gun Pointed At Security Guard In Street

A security guard was confronted in the street by armed raiders who grabbed a cash box.

The attack happened in Bondgate in Nuneaton at 7pm yesterday.

A Securior guard was making a delivery to the Nationwide Building Society when two offenders approached him.

One had a gun and threatened him. He is white, about 5ft 9ins and wore a fluorescent shirt.

The two attackers fled down Wheat Street towards the police station. It is believed they had been hanging around the area since 6pm.
