Blade Threat In
Burger Hold-Up
A
fast food restaurant manger was threatened with a knife before
crooks stole money from his safe.
The
attackers walked into the manager’s office in Burger King at the
Corley Services on the M6 northbound between 10.15pm and 10.30pm
on Friday.
One
of the culprits produced a five-inch knife and threatened the man,
demanding money.
They
took a “substantial amount” from the safe and fled. The money
was put in a black Head holdall.
Police
are appealing for anyone who saw the attackers leave the area to
come forward.
They
are both black and in their mid-20s, and slim build, with short
black hair and dark clothing. One was wearing white trainers.
