Stitches Needed
After City Street Attack
A
33-year-old man needed stitches for cuts to his face after he was
attacked by robbers in Coventry yesterday evening.
The
victim, who is from the city, suffered a cut on his left eyebrow
which required five stitches, a cut below his right eye which
required two butterfly stitches, a cut to his lip which needed
four stitches and loose teeth.
Two
men approached the man from behind and grabbed his clothes,
causing him to spin around.
They
stole £50 cash from him and assaulted him with an unknown
implement across his face before fleeing the scene following the
attack at 7pm last night Monday January 29.
One
man is white, and the other black. They are both about 6ft tall
and average build. The white offender was wearing a beige coat and
his accomplice had dark hair.
