Coventry Motorcyclist Injured In Crash

A Coventry motorcyclist suffered serious injuries when he collided with a car on a road heading towards the city.

The crash happened at the junction with the A45 and the A445 at Ryton at 4.20pm yesterday.

A Peugeot 206 GLX, driven by a 21-year-old man from Daventry was pulling off the A445 and crossing the A45 when it collided with the motorcycle.

The rider, a 20-year-old man from Coventry was going along the A45 and was knocked off in the collision.

He was taken to Coventry and Warwickshire hospital with back, leg and pelvic injuries. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
