Manager Handcuffed
And Kicked By Robber
A
manager of a restaurant was forced by an armed robber to empty a
safe before he was handcuffed and kicked.
The
attack took place at the Little Chef on Liveridge Hill near
Henley-in-Arden took place shortly after 6am yesterday.
The
21-year-old manager, who comes from the Rugby area, arrived at the
building and opened it up.
He
was confronted by a man with a stocking over his head and a
shot-gun.
The
attacker forced the manager to open the safe and put money into a
pillow case.
More
than £1,000 was handed over and the attacker then pushed the
victim into the restaurant area and handcuffed him.
Once
the manager was on the floor the attacker kicked him in the head.
Police
are looking for a white man in his late 30s, 5ft 8ins, stocky
build. Hew as wearing a tracksuit top, blue bottoms and was
carrying a shot gun with a wooden handle around one-and-a-half
feet long.
The
manager was treated for bruising and lacerations to his forehead.
