Toddler Hurt In
Coventry Car Collision
A
two-year-old Coventry girl had to undergo emergency surgery on her
tongue after she was hit by a car.
The
toddler was in collision with a Ford Escort estate at 8.35am in
Donnington Avenue in Coundon.
She
was rushed to Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital for surgery to a
cut to her tongue. The little girl also suffered cuts and bruises.
Police
are appealing for witnesses to the crash to call 024 7653 9010.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old Coventry woman was not
injured but very shaken by the incident.
