Teenager Injured By
Coventry Street Attacker
A
teenager was punched in the face several times by a man who
demanded money from him in Coventry city centre yesterday.
The
attack happened in Cox Street at 2.30am, when the 19-year-old was
confronted by a black man, 5ft 8ins with a goatee beard.
The
victim was struck several times in the face, suffering a two-inch
cut to his right eyebrow and swelling to his left eye and
cheekbone.
His
Accurist watch, which had a silver strap and blue face, worth £50,
was taken by the robber.
The
attacker then fled in the direction of Generations nightclub in
Raglan Street. He was wearing a grey hooded fleece and black
jeans.
