Student Attacked Near City Nightclub

A student was punched in the face by a teenager who followed him from a city centre nightclub early today.

The victim had been for a night out in the Colosseum nightclub and left at 12.50am.

He went into a burger bar next to the club and it is believed that the offender followed him from there to Millennium Walk in White Street.

The youth demanded money and punched the victim in the face. He snatched his wallet, containing £30 in cash and ran off.

He is aged about 18, 5ft 6ins and slim build. He had stubble on his face and wore a white baseball cap, white trousers and a white sports-style long-sleeved top.

The attacker ran off towards Primrose Hill Street in Hillfields.
