Woman's Tooth Broken
In Street Attack
A
masked robber pushed a woman to the ground as he took more than £300
from her in a street struggle in Coventry.
The
victim was out collecting insurance money when she was set upon in
Lauderdale avenue, Holbrooks at 7.15pm on Monday.
A
man approached her from behind and put his arm around her neck.
In
a husky voice, with a local accent, he told her to give him money.
A struggle broke out during which the woman fell to the floor. She
suffered a broken tooth and cuts to her face.
The
man ran off with a red pencil case, which has a logo with
multi-coloured spiders on it, which contained £300.
He
is 5ft 6ins and wore a black balaclava, a black puffa jacket,
black tracksuit bottoms and black gloves.
