Gang Strips Teenager Of Jewellery

An 18-year-old had £1,000 of jewellery stolen from him when he was set upon in the street in Coventry yesterday.

He was in Walsgrave Road in Stoke at 2.45am when five men approached him.

One of the gang shouted at him to attract his attention and then punched him in the nose.

They took a gold bracelet worth £400, a neck chain also worth £400 and a gold and silver watch worth £200. The group also stole a silver Nokia mobile phone worth £250.
