Woman's Legs Broken
In City Crash
A
20-year-old woman suffered two broken legs and serious head
injuries when she was hit by a car in a busy Coventry street
yesterday.
The
woman, who has not been named, was taken to Coventry and
Warwickshire Hospital for treatment following the crash at 6pm in
Stoney Stanton Road.
She
was detained in the Intensive Care Unit.
The
driver of the car involved in the accident, a 30-year-old man from
Coundon did not suffer any physical injuries in the accident, but
was badly shaken.
Traffic
police are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Stoney
Stanton Road police station on 024 7653 9020.
