Till Taken By Armed Gang

Three men armed with a baseball bat ran off with a till from a Coventry shop yesterday.

They walked into the Black Horse Convenience Stores in Black Horse Road, Longford at 7pm.

One of the men stood by the door and held it open.

The other two walked up to the till, and one said “cash” and produced a baseball bat.

They then grabbed the till and ran off with it.

They were seen making their escape in a red Ford Escort. The car was later found abandoned by police in Wood End.

All three men were aged between 20 and 30 and wore puffa jackets. One had a red and white scarf over his face.
