Pensioner Killed In
Coventry Rush Hour
A
pensioner was killed in the rush hour in Coventry as he tried to
cross a busy road leading out of the city.
The
accident happened at 4.51pm on the A45 at the junction with
Wainbody Avenue in Green Lane.
The
89-year-old victim, who has not been named, died after being in
collision with a Vauxhall Frontera being driven by a 29-year-old
woman from Northamptonshire.
Police
have not revealed the identity of the dead man. Witnesses should
call 024 7653 9030.
