Man Dragged From Bed
And Kidnapped
A
man was dragged from his bed, driven to a quarry and attacked when
he was kidnapped by two men.
The
incident happened at 12.15pm on Saturday in Heath End Road
Nuneaton, when an 18-year-old man was set upon by two Asian men.
They
knocked on the door of his house and entered and went upstairs to
his bedroom.
They
grabbed him and dragged him to a red Ford fiesta, forced him
inside and drove off.
He
was later assaulted at Tusle Hill quarry and dumped there. The man
walked back home in his bare feet before calling police. He need
stitches for a wound and suffered bruising to his head.
Police
are anxious to trace any witnesses, particularly two women who
asked the man if he was alright when they saw him walking back.
Two
men from Bedworth, one aged 55, the other 16, were arrested and
questioned, but were released without charge.
One
of the attackers was described as being in is 20s, and stocky. The
other was younger and slim.
