Boy Sprayed With Paint In Hammer Attack

A 15-year-old boy was sprayed with paint and attacked with hammer as two men robbed him and his friend.

The robbery happened at 9pm on Friday in Holbrook Lane, Holbrooks, Coventry.

The men approached to two lads, both aged 15, and tried to sell them some phonecards.

They then attacked the pair. One of the lads was sprayed with silver paint and hit in the knee with a hammer, while the other one was searched.

The offenders made off with a mobile phone and a BMX bike.

They escaped in a beige Talbot car. One is his early 20s, mixed race, 6ft with a small moustache. He wore a dark blue Fila jacket and dark trousers.

The second attacker is white, in his 20s and has short brown hair with long sideburns and goatee beard.

He wore glasses and had a cream coloured jacket.
