Man's Lung Punctured
In Stabbing
A
gang tracked a Coventry man down and stabbed him in his abdomen
and lung in a street brawl in Foleshill yesterday.
The
26-yaer-old victim was visiting a friend in a house near Lockhurst
Lane when the attack happened at 7.50pm.
The
gang of five knocked on the door, and the friend opened it. The
group asked for the victim by name.
On
hearing his name, the victim went to the door and a fight broke
out in the street. During the course of the struggle he was
stabbed twice and suffered a pierced abdomen and a punctured lung.
He
was taken to Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital for treatment.
