Family In Firework
Near Miss
A family had a
narrow escape from serious injury yesterday when a firework flew
through their car window when they were watching a display.
The mother,
father, child, and baby were in the Pickford Green Lane in Eastern
Green when the stray firework came through the car window.
The firework flew
around the car and set fire to the trousers of a five-year-old
boy. He suffered burns, as did his father, but the mother and the baby
escaped uninjured.
