Rugby Raider In
£60,000 Jewellery Heist
An
armed raider threatened staff at a Rugby jewellers with a gun and
made off with goods worth £60,000 yesterday.
The
man walked into Cleaver’s Jewellery in Regent Street at 5pm and
pointed the firearm at the two women and a man working in there.
He
grabbed ladies and gents’ Rolex watches and diamond jewellery
and made off towards Regent Place.
The
staff were uninjured but left badly shaken by the incident.
The
man is white, 5ft 10ins, slim to medium build and has short fair
hair.
He
was wearing a dark coat, dark casual trousers and was possibly
wearing a dark baseball cap and had a dark fabric drawstring bag
with him.
