Woman Hit By Parked Car

A woman was killed as she walked down a street in a village near Warwick when a car rolled on her and crushed her.

She was hit by a parked BMW, which was struck by a car in Lapworth at 8.50am.

A Ford Mondeo, driven by Nicholas Russell, aged 24, of Newborough Road, Shirley, was driving round a bend on the B4439 Old Warwick Road at the junction with Mill Road.

The car struck the BMW estate car, which was knocked over and hit the woman. She was airlifted to Selly Oak hospital in Birmingham but died from her injuries
