Service Station Held
Up By Robbers
Police
are hunting two men who held up a service station on the A45 at
gun point yesterday.
They
approached the Texaco Oak service station at 12.20am and
threatened the 22-year-old assistant from Meriden with a hand gun.
The
attackers made him turn the lights off to the services station,
which he did.
They
then forced their way into the shop area and stole £80 in cash
before fleeing.
The
first attacker is black, aged between 20 and 30, about 5ft 7ins
and medium to stocky build. He was wearing a black woolly hat and
a black tracksuit and spoke with a strong Birmingham accent.
His
accomplice is in his late teens or early 20s, had a light wispy
moustache and blond or brown hair.
He
had a mark on his neck which could have been either a scar or a
tattoo and was wearing a grey or white t-shirt and a black
baseball cap.
