Boy Killed In Bedworth Accident

An 11-year-old boy has died after a road crash when he was hit by a vehicle.

The accident happened in Marston Lane in Bedworth at 7.10pm.

The boy was on foot when he was struck by a Citroen Saxo driven by Rachel Yearby, aged 21, from Nuneaton.

Police said that he was hit by the car as it travelled down the hill towards Nuneaton, and he was knocked against a parked car.

He was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and was put a life support machine, but died today.
