Robberies In Tile
Hill And Stoke Aldermoor
A
shop assistant was forced to hand over cash when a man threatened
her with a gun and demanded money.
He
walked into Corrie Store in Delius Street, Tile Hill at 5pm on
Friday with what is believed to have been a gun.
The
man, who is black, 6ft and medium build took £64 in cash and ran
off. The assistant was uninjured in the incident, but left very
shaken.
The
robber was seen making off along Aldrich Avenue towards the woods.
A
sky blue scarf was covering the lower half of his face, and he was
also wearing a hooded top and blue baggy trousers.
Witnesses
should call police on 024 7653 9010.
Police
are investigating a separate incident in Treforest Road, Stoke
Aldermoor, when a student was robbed of cash and bank cards.
He
was threatened at 8.55am in the street by two offenders, but was
left unharmed after he allowed his attackers to search his pockets.
