Two Held On
Suspicion Of Stratford Rape
Two
men are in police custody today following allegations of a rape on
an 18-year-old woman in a churchyard in Stratford.
A
special incident room has been set up in town following the
incident in the churchyard of Holy Trinity church between 10.15pm
and 10.30pm last night.
The
victim was walking through the yard as a short cut from the town
centre.
The
men
were arrested last night following a series of non-stop collision
between a red Ford van and other vehicles in the Broad Street and
Ball Street.
Police
said the vehicle was recovered in Mill Street.
The
men, one of whom is aged 29 and from Stoke-on-Trent, were also
arrested on suspicion of burglary
DCI
Richard Sear, who is leading the investigation, asked for people
who saw anything suspicion in the area to call the Stratford
incident room on
