Gun
Threat To Rugby Pub Manageress
Two men
threatened a pub manageress with guns in an armed raid at the
Black Horse in Rugby on Monday morning.
The woman and a
cleaner were thought to be the only people in the pub on Main
Street, Bilton, at the time of the raid, around 9am.
A police
spokeswoman said:
“Two men were
found to be on the premises. They ordered the manageress, a
24-year-old female, to open the safe. Both men were believed to
be carrying handguns.
“They took a
quantity of cash. No one was hurt and no guns were discharged.
“The woman
was extremely shocked by this ordeal.”
No descriptions
of the offenders, or the amount of money stolen, are being
released.
