Thieves Attack Staff and Steal Sky Blue Strip

Armed thieves got away with replica Sky Blue shirts when they raided the club shop yesterday afternoon during opening hours.

Two men walked in to the New Sales offices at the club’s ground in Thackhall Street. They threatened the staff and the thieves took 40 shirts.

One had a balaclava and his accomplice had a crash helmet.

The manager tried to stop them but one kicked him and they ran away with the goods. The thieves fled the scene on a motorbike.

The club is asking people not to buy replica shirts from market stalls – where they expect the goods to turn up - but to visit their own shops.
