Office Raiders Attack and Rob Worker

Masked men burst in on a workman, and smacked him with their gun then ran with £350 from his wallet.

The raiders struck at the Edgewick Industrial Estate in Cross Road last night about 10.30.

A police spokeswoman said:

“Four masked offenders, one of which had a handgun, entered a workshop on the industrial estate and threatened a 43-year-old man who was working late.

“They threatened the man with a gun and hit him, possibly with the butt of a gun, and caused cuts to his face. They stole his wallet with £350 cash.

“The man was treated, and discharged, at the Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital.”
