Robbers
Use Gun And Steal A Pizza The Takings
Armed robbers brandished a gun when
they struck at a pizza shop in Rugby in the early hours of
yesterday morning.
They burst in at the Pizza the
Action shop in Boughton Road, Old Brownsover, about 2.30am.
Insp David Sutcliffe of Warwickshire Police
said:
“Two men wearing balaclavas
went into the shop, one was armed with a knife and the other
with a shotgun.
“They threatened the shop
assistant and sprayed an irritant into his face.”
They left the shop with £400 in cash, and
made their escape
on foot.
The only descriptions given were that they
had balaclavas, gloves
and jackets - one had a light blue jacket.
