Teenager
Robbed After He Offered Cash
A teenager gave
money to two strangers who then attacked him and stole his mobile
phone last night.
The 15-year-old
from Tile Hill was walking along Queen Victoria Road about 10.45pm
when two men asked him for cash, and then robbed him.
A West Midlands
police spokeswoman said:
“He was
approached by two offenders who asked to borrow £1. The lad
handed over the money.
“And then the
first offender searched the boy’s pocket and stole a mobile
phone.
“The second
offender then demanded the lad hand over his neck chain. The lad
refused and was and punched in the face and had bruises to his
left eye and nose.”
The first robber
was described as: black, 5ft 7in, of slim build with black cropped
hair and wearing a gold hoped earring. He had a white t-shirt,
dark-coloured trousers, white trainers and cream baseball cap with
red and white stripes.
His accomplice
was white, 5ft 3in, aged about 17, with short curly black hair,
wearing a blue Puffa jacket, and had red white and blue trainers.
They stole a
Siemens C-25 mobile phone. Anyone with information should call
