Man In Beachy Head Mystery
A
body of a Coventry man has been found at the
bottom of the notorious Beachy Head cliffs in Sussex.
It
was discovered on Thursday evening following a freak accident when
another man died.
He
was seen taking photographs at the top of the cliffs when a sudden
strong gust of wind sent him across the edge.
A
helicopter crew were called in to retrieve the photographer's body.
He is believed to come from Kent.
As
the helicopter pulled away to take the man to hospital they
spotted another body. The second dead man was retrieved.
He
was later identified as Robert Courthald, aged 44, from Mantilla
Drive, Styvechale.
A
police spokesman said that the cause of death could not be
speculated on as a coroner's inquest is to be held.
