Fatal Lorry Collision in Leamington

A pedestrian died after a collision with a lorry in the centre of Leamington’s Old Town.

The man has been named as John O’Regan, aged 76, of Radford Road, Leamington. 

He was taken to Warwick Hospital, but died from his injuries.

The skip lorry driver was Peter Bloomfield, aged 36, of Barracks Green, Loxley, in south Warwickshire.

Police closed High Street following the accident about 3.20pm yesterday, until about 5pm.
