Indecent
Attacker Calmly Walks Away
A woman who was indecently assaulted on a
Leamington street shouted at her attacker, and he just walked off.
The victim was outside the Willoughby pub in
Augusta Place when the attack happened on Wednesday about 10.35pm.
Insp David Barrett of Warwickshire Police said:
“A 30-year-old woman was approached by a man
who, without warning, indecently assaulted her.
“When the complainant shouted at the man, he
calmly walked away from down Augusta Place towards Dormer Place.
“Although naturally shocked and upset, the
woman was not injured.”
Her attacker was described as white, about 5ft
9in, with a slight build, in his early 40s and with short curly ginger
hair - wearing a brown and white check shirt.
