Teenage
Cyclist Attacked by Gang Member
A teenage cyclist was left with a broken
collarbone and cuts to his mouth, following an attack as he was riding
along a Coventry street.
The victim and a friend were cycling along Bird

of about 10 men.
A police spokesman said:
“One of this group of men then ran behind the
19-year-old man punching him in the back of the head and causing him
to fall from his bike to the ground.
“He then kicked at the victim before running
off. The victim suffered a broken collar bone and had to have four
stitches to a cut to his mouth following the incident.”
The attacker was descibed as a mixed-race male,
about 5ft 8in, with cropped hair.
The un-named victim from Coundon was set upon
about 10.30pm on Saturday and then taken to the Coventry and
Warwickshire Hospital.
