A man was threatened with an electric toaster by a robber who stole his money and jewellery.

The 21-year-old was walking along Binton Road, Wood End. He was approached by a man who pushed him against the wall – demanding the chain around his neck and his money.

The victim was then threatened with a toaster, but refused to hand anything over, and was then pushed into a bush.

He dropped his cash and the robber stole the chain from around his neck as the victim fled the scene.

The robber is described as a black man who was 5ft 10in, with slim build, and very short hair. He got away with a £50 chain and £12 in cash.
