Stolen In Road Rage On The A46
A motorist who honked his horn at a driver on the
A46 ended up in a road rage incident where his mobile phone was taken,
and threats were made.
The victim saw the aggressor cut up another
driver on the dual-carriageway near the Thickthorn Island at
Kenilworth on Wednesday afternoon.
When the men pulled off at the A452
Kenilworth-Leamington road exit, and came to a stop, there was a
confrontation.
The man who is supposed to have been driving
erratically got out of the car and approached the victim. There was no
violence, but he stole a mobile phone from the passenger’s seat and
fled the scene in his B-registered Polo car.
A police spokesman said: “The man got out of
his car and walked over to the gentleman and reached into the
passenger side and stole his mobile phone. He uttered some threatening
words to him and drove off”
The angy man is described as: white, about 5ft
8in, of medium build, with short hair and wearing a light blue top.
There were four people in his car.
