Two female staff were tied up by the same robber who struck at different shops in Leamington town centre.

The man first went to Cats By Design in Regent Street and threatened the woman with a three-inch knife when he told her to hand over money about 4pm on Friday afternoon.

He tied her up with silver tape in the toilet and told her to remain there for 15 minutes after he fled the shop.

He is believed to be the same man who struck minutes later in Sketchley on The Parade, where his next victim was also a woman who was threatened with a knife. The robber told her to empty the safe and he left with £72.

He is white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 8in, slim build, dark brown hair, wearing a wax jacket and a t-shirt.
