A Nuneaton woman narrowly
escaped injury when a brick was thrown at her car as she drove down a
Bedworth street yesterday.
The woman was driving her Ford
Fiesta past Kwik Save in Mill Street at 6pm when the missile hit her
car.
The brick had been thrown from
the top of a nearby car park and smashed a light on the car.
Police said the woman was very
lucky to escape injury as serious damage could have been caused to the
car had it hit.
Insp Dave Fry said:
“This could have been far
more serious. Police are concerned about this type of offence.”
