A masked man armed with a claw
        hammer stole £200 from a Coventry off-licence in a raid at the weekend.
        The man walked into Acorn Wines
        in Acorn Street, Stoke Aldermoor at 10.30pm on Saturday.
        He swung a hammer at the
        64-year-old shop assistant, who hurt his middle finger as he tried to
        defend himself.
        The attacker then jumped over
        the counter and smashed the till with the hammer. He took £200  cash and fled.
        Police are hunting for the
        offender, who is white, 5ft 5in, medium build and was wearing a black
        balaclava and dark clothing. People with information should call 024
