Trainers
Robbed By Broadgate Gang
A
pair of trainers were stolen from a man in Coventry city centre
yesterday after he was punched by a gang of youths.
The
man was approached in Broadgate at 1.40pm when the four black youths
walked up to him and demanded money.
When
he refused one of the group punched him, causing bruising on his left
cheek.
They
then grabbed a pair of Nike trainers worth £50 that he was carrying
and made off.
The
first offender had short, black, close-shaven hair, the second had
short dreadlocks and the third was wearing black trousers and a black
jacket.
The
victim was unable to give a description of the fourth attacker.
