Two masked robbers held up a Nuneaton supermarket with guns yesterday.

They entered the One Stop Convenience Store in Raven Way at 10.25pm.

One of the attackers took a member of staff into a room at the rear of the store. The other made two customers in the shop at the time lie on the floor.

Both the offenders then ran from store with the till. It was later found, but was empty.

The pair, who were both dressed in leather and wearing full face crash helmets, escaped on a stolen motorcycle, which was later found abandoned.
