Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was
found murdered in the Hillfields area of Coventry in the early hours of this morning.
The ambulance service received an anonymous 999 call at around 4am. When their crew
arrived at the flat in Pioneer House, in Adelaide Street, they found the dead man and
immediately called the police.
A Home Office pathologist is carrying out a post mortem to find out the cause of death.
The murder victim is believed to be a Coventry man in his 40’s. He will not be
named until relatives have been informed.
