Detectives investigating a serious sexual assault on
an 11 year old girl at the Oakley dance School, Leamington Spa, on 9 December 1998, have
this morning arrested a man.
The 30 year old Leamington man was arrested at 7.45am today at his place of work in
Birmingham.
He is in custody at Leamington Spa police station where he will be questioned later
today in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault.
The break through came as a result of publicity after a media appeal last week when
detectives revealed new leads in the investigation and appealed for information from the
public.
