£100,000 Drugs Seized In
Bedworth
Warwickshire police today made a major drugs seizure
in Bedworth.
Officers raided small business premises in Wooton Street, Bedworth and seized 400
cannabis plants with an estimated value of £100,000 along with lighting and heating
equipment used in the cultivation of the plants.
Two men were arrested and are on police bail until 17 March. A 57-year-old local man
was arrested in connection with the production of the cannabis and a 41-year-old man in
connection with the theft of motor vehicles.
