threatening a shop worker with a handgun at around 6.45pm last night. The assistant was
unhurt but deeply shocked by the incident.
The first man brandished the nine-inch handgun at the man forcing him to hand over an
unspecified amount of cash before both men fled.
The first man is described as a white, in his 20s, 5ft 10ins, of average build with a
dark coloured hat, a scarf across his face. He was wearing a blue and white anorak with

His accomplice was 6ft 2ins tall with ginger hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing a
black hat and a dark bomber jacket. Police say he seemed nervous during the raid.
