Nuneaton Borough
are ready to play their first home league game of the season
tonight when they entertain Boston United.
They have had two draws so far this month.
On Saturday they came away with a point after a 1-1 result away
at Doncaster Rovers on the opening day of the season in the
Conference.
In the run-up to the season, the club had a
2-2 drawn with Stalybridge Celtic, but Shaun Ray picked up a
collar bone injury and is probably out until well into the
Autumn.
The club completed its record signing over
the summer, losing Durcos who left Warwickshire for
Kidderminster Harriers and earned the Boro' £80,000.
The club signed Stafford Rangers’ Richard
Mitchell and Hereford United’s Mark Taylor in the close
season.
Also new at the Borough are Marc McGregor
and Alex Sykes, both from Forest Green Rovers, Lee Charles from
Hayes, and Ian King from Stevenage Borough, but his injuries at
the weekend mean he might not be in the starting line-up
tonight.
The game at Manor Park kicks off tonight at
7.45pm
