Man Stabbed In Pub
Fight
A
man suffered stab wounds in his leg during a fight in a pub
yesterday.
Police
were called to the fracas at the Benjamin Satchwell in the Parade,
Leamington, at 7.15pm following reports of two men having a fight.
A
42-yearold Warwick man was taken to Warwick Hospital and then
transferred to Walsgrave Hospital after suffering stab wounds to
his thigh.
His
condition was said to not be life-threatening, but he was
de-arrested by police to allow him to get more treatment.
The
other man involved, who is aged 38 from Leamington, was treated
for a facial injury at Warwick Hospital before being taken into
police custody to help with inquiries.

witnesses who were in the pub at the time and have not yet given
