Henley
Motorcyclist Dies in Tractor Smash
A motorcyclist
died after he was in collision with a tractor in south
Warwickshire yesterday.
The collision
happened at Spring Lane, Hockley Heath, by the
Warwickshire/Solihull boundary about 12.30pm.
The man, who died
at the scene, was named as Richard Fletcher, aged 30, from
Henley-in-Arden.
The tractor
driver, who was not injured, was Thomas Marchant, aged 50, of
Kemps Green, Hockley Heath.
He was driving
the tractor, pulling a trailer with bales of hay, towards Hockley
Heath and was about to turn into a farm entrance.
The motorcycle
was travelling in the opposite direction towards Tanworth-in-Arden
on the B4101.
The crash
happened on a bend in the road near the Pound House Lane junction.
