Two Injured In Nuneaton Raid
Thieves with guns struck at a Nuneaton venue, fleeing with hundreds
of pounds after injuring two people in a raid.
The raiders went into Entertainment Exchange in Queens Road,
Nuneaton, at about 4pm on Sunday.
Two members of staff were threatened by men brandishing weapons and
were told to open the safe.
A member of staff and a bystander were struck with a weapon by the
robbers. They received cuts and swelling in the attack.
Staff were ordered to open the safe and the thieves got away with
hundreds of pounds in coins.
The robbers were described as white males in their early 20s. One was
very stocky, wearing a balaclava and a three-quarter length coat. He spoke with a
Birmingham accent.
His accomplice was shorter and slimmer with short fair hair, wearing
a long-sleeved Adidas top with yellow stripes. He had a white carrier bag.
Police closed Queens Road for a while after the raid. Anyone with
