Detectives
hunting the man who raped a Nuneaton teenager have issued this picture
of the attacker and are to reconstruct his victim’s movements.
They are appealing for anyone
who might recognise him to come forward.
More than 50 officers have been
involved in the search for the attacker who set upon the 18-year-old on
Friday 9 June.
One of the best police artists
in the country was brought in from Cornwall to draw this picture of the
attacker.
And a police officer is to
retrace the steps of the woman before the attack in a bid to jog
people’s memories.
The victim walked from Jodrell
Street in Nuneaton, along the footpath and towards Weddingon Fields
where the rape took place.
The officer will follow this
route and then return to Jodrell Street.
The reconstruction will take
place on Friday afternoon at 4.15pm – exactly two weeks after the
attack took place.
